Saturday 22 July 2023 at 3-5pm at Lake St. Clair Metropark for beach, splash pad, swimming pool, playground, miniature golf, and more. Notes: you can grill pretty close to the beach. It is on the other side of the dead end of the T-intersection, once you get to the beach area. The playground is very large and pretty awesome. It is easy to stay here all day and not have enough time to do everything. I do not see a place to fish other than shore fishing in the Beach area. The water is shallow for a very long distance going towards the lake. This gives enough room for many people to be in the water at the same time. Just like Myrtle Beach. Very few trees. Highly recommend bringing your own shade. NOTES: Has a basketball court in BBQ area behind concessions, near water slide. Bring bug repellent. Not a water park nor splash pad. Big big inflatable slide with water running down to make it a "water slide". BBQ areas are far (1/2 city block) away from beach. Live band on this day playing soul funk music at 7pm). Great place to watch sunset. Kayak and paddle board rentals available. Bring your own shade.
